The facility includes multiple power generation technologies consisting of Solar Titan 130 gas turbines, Siemens SGT800 gas turbines, reciprocating engines, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, and associated balance of plant infrastructure. The scope includes major civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, underground utility, control systems, and commissioning works required to support phased energization and turnover of the facility. Construction will be executed through a combination of direct hire and subcontracted labor supported by modularization, pre-assembly, offsite warehousing, and advanced work packaging methodologies. @@HD@@ Job Summary:@@/HD@@ In this role, you will lead a team to plan and execute survey and meteorology strategy, survey scanning, and drone pilot programs. You will supervise survey activities, subcontractors, field verification of materials, and daily data downloading and processing. Your leadership will ensure successful implementation of survey work with a project's safety, quality, and environmental programs. #LI-BH1 @@HD@@ Major Responsibilities:@@/HD@@ • Oversees the survey team's implementation of the project safety, quality, and environmental programs. • Oversees the project's survey control network. • Provides oversight of survey works by direct hire surveyors in a given area or areas, coordinates all Survey activities, and manages Survey Subcontract and resources if applicable. • Manages sub-contracted survey crews, including verification of survey crews' control points and work. • Provides expertise and technical support as related to survey to Field Engineering and Superintendents in a wide range of situations and configurations. • Produces survey's scanning and metrology strategy and procedure document, which details the requirements for equipment, content, competence requirements and assessments, and accuracy, checking, validation, acceptance, and archiving. • Assists the Corporate Survey Manager with competency evaluations and assignments of qualified scanning and metrology survey personnel. • Directs and/or performs metrology field measurements utilizing Laser Tracker instrument and Spatial Analyzer software. • Provides survey support to senior management. • Produces the survey strategy and procedure document, which details the requirements for survey equipment, survey content, competence requirements and assessments, and survey accuracy, checking, validation, acceptance, and archiving. • Initiates requisitions for field purchases of survey equipment as required. • Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. • Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities @@HD@@ Education and Experience Requirements:@@/HD@@ • Required bachelor's degree(or equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience @@HD@@ Required Knowledge and Skills:@@/HD@@ • Knowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience • Knowledge of Bechtel's "Zero Incidents" safety program. Must have a strong drive toward Safety, both on and off the job, a commitment to seeing everyone go home each day as well and healthy as they came to work that day • Knowledge of Bechtel quality standards.
