Budget Analyst

This position is located in the Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Business Center (BC), Chief Financial Operations Office, Budget Division. The incumbent serves as a Senior Budget Analyst independently leading budget formulation and execution for agency program accounts developing budget submissions, advising senior leadership, ensuring fiscal law compliance, and delivering analysis driving resource allocation across three FPAC agencies. Expert level federal budget experience required. You must be a US Citizen or US National. Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt. Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check. If selected, you may be sent instructions on obtaining fingerprints. As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period or 2-year trial period depending on your appointment type, unless previous federal service is creditable.
