Application Manager

As Application Portfolio Manager you manage a larger portfolio of applications along the whole application lifecycle. You are responsible for strategical and operational ITIL practices as well as ITIL change management practices. You support the service area with the definition of standards and processes and strive for first class services. @@HD@@ How you'll make an impact:@@/HD@@ • Support the incubation of new applications into our application management team • Define a portfolio strategy together with the service manager • Align on strategical and tactical requirements for your portfolio with business stakeholders • Ramp up services and user communication as well as start building user communities and knowledge sharing around your application portfolio • Ensure first class engagement and plan the strategic application development with our vendors • Ensure that the application has a proper strategic positioning in alignment with IT Enterprise Architecture and Global IT Domains • Operate your application portfolio according all (operational, tactical & strategical) ITIL practices • Track, report and optimize the use of software licenses. • Manage, plan, schedule and control application or platform build through all project phases until production release and transition to run. • Consider and manage IT controls, regulatory and legal requirements while designing, delivering and running platforms, applications and services. • Plan, control and optimize the budget and cost of your portfolio • Manage, track, report and optimize the use of software licenses. • Support the service manager with transversal topics such as financials, definition of service delivery procedures and standards or demand and project management. • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. • Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, electrical or mechanical engineering. • 8-15 years of experience in Applications Management and Service Delivery in multinational companies. • Experience with Simulation Applications will be beneficial • Exposure to ITIL practices and ServiceNow • Experience and ability to work with virtual delivery teams as well as distributed stakeholders.
