Field Service Power Generation Technician

• Completing repair activities on generators or components • Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner • Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools • Maintain detailed records of service • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies • Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products • Maintain own tools

• Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. • High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products. • Basic Diesel Engine experience. • Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components. • Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation.

Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred), Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution, Current relevant electrical certification, Locally valid driving permit, this position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. A current valid license is required for this role, must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience.
