How would you like to become a part of a team providing compassionate whole health care to Veterans? Experience ensuring coordination of care for various women's health care services such as gynecology, obstetrics, mammography, family planning, and others that support women's health. Experience with budgeting for women's healthcare services and working with facility leadership in planning for all aspects required to support women's health care. Experience with outreach to provide women veterans information regarding women's health care in VHA including eligibility. Experience with program management adhering to directives, policies, and program office guidance and working with multidisciplinary teams to maximize success of the program. Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care to achieve the best outcomes. U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
