IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN)

This National Guard position is for an IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN), Position Description Number D1650P01 and is part of the 178 ISRG, Ohio Air National Guard. The purpose of the position is to provide information technology system support to the assigned unit. The incumbent provides systems administration support on workstations and servers using multiple operating systems. Ohio Air National Guard Membership is required. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required within one year of the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. 3.
