Process Engineering Intern - Summer 2025

site. @@HD@@ Reporting to the Automation Manager, @@/HD@@ the student will be responsible for solving complex problems and generating new ideas for a global organization in support of real-time business issues, to develop skills and experiences. The Process Engineering Intern will be working on Controls and PLC process. @@HD@@ What a typical day looks like: @@/HD@@ • Assists with manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules. • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. • Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests. • Collaborates with engineering team understand system architecture and design constraints. • Creates mechanical design concepts for various products using mechanical tools. • Assists with the design mechanisms to help improve installation and serviceability. • Assists with testing and executes experiments for mechanical system optimization. • Works with the team to build and test prototypes. • Diagnoses and makes recommendations on prototypes, assembly or design failures.

• Undergrad student pursuing Bachelors' degree in Engineering major • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills • Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills • Ability to work in teams and collaborate with others • Self-motivated, high energy and strong time management skills • Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to take lead and drive for results • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Previous internship experience a plus!
