Housing Assistant

Serves as the Housing Assistant for the HUD/VASH Program within the HCHV Program under the VA Southeast Network (VISN 7); has primary responsibility for coordination of the housing resources and outreach to increase and maintain appropriate housing options for Veterans experiencing homelessness in the HUD/VASH Program using the Housing Choice voucher. Physical Requirements: The work is basically sedentary in a nature but may be subject to stressful situations. The position does require some bending, standing, and carrying of supplies within the medical center complex. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
