Appleʼs IT Governance & Planning team is seeking a hands-on privacy professional to drive global Privacy initiatives across Appleʼs IS&T organization. We have built a very special team that drives these initiatives and standards across various information technology functions, including core business applications such as Apple online store, Apple retail stores, AppleCare, HR systems, engineering systems, and many others. This is an extraordinary opportunity for the right candidate seeking to drive operational and strategic excellence in Appleʼs IT governance processes. @@HD@@ Description@@/HD@@ This is a high-visibility role that will drive execution of privacy programs, ensure compliance with global data protection regulations, and partner cross-functionally to embed privacy-by-design into products and processes. You will establish Privacy standards and help drive metrics and projects to assess the privacy posture. Dynamic, smart people and inspiring, innovative technologies are the norm here. @@HD@@ Responsibilities:@@/HD@@ Lead end-to-end execution of privacy projects, including planning, tracking, and delivery of key milestones Partner with Legal, Security, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to operationalize privacy requirements Implement and maintain privacy frameworks aligned with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other global laws especially those surrounding the use of AI Facilitate Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) Develop and maintain data inventories, data flow maps, and records of processing activities (RoPA) Track and manage privacy incidents, ensuring timely escalation and resolution Support responses to data subject requests (DSARs), audits, and regulatory inquiries Drive privacy-by-design principles in product development lifecycles Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs across the organization @@HD@@ Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices Preferred Qualifications@@/HD@@ Knowledge of data security principles and risk management frameworks Knowledge of global AI regulatory obligations Knowledge of EU privacy laws Excellent communication Ability to balance legal/compliance requirements with business needs @@HD@@ Experience in technology, SaaS, AI frameworks Minimum Qualifications@@/HD@@ 5+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or related program/project management roles Strong understanding of global privacy regulations Experience managing cross-functional projects and working with distributed teams Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent stakeholder management abilities Bachelor's of Science in Information Systems, Security, or Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent experience @@HD@@ Pay & Benefits@@/HD@@ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
