Police Officer (Desk Sergeant)

In this position you will work as a member of the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC), Emergency Services Division, Police Branch. MWEOC is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, approximately 60 miles west of Washington, DC. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience maintaining law & order, protecting life, property, & civil rights of individuals, & national security information from acts of sabotage, espionage, terrorism, trespass, theft, and/or fire. To meet those standards, all selected applicants must undergo, successfully pass, and maintain a background investigation for a Top Secret/SCI clearance as a condition of placement into this position. Required to participate in tests and exercises during non-duty work hours. May be required to wear various Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include respirators, mask, self-contained breathing apparatus & armored vest.
