We are seeking a motivated and capable

Middle Accessibility Specialist

to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to help ensure our products meet accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2. @@HD@@ Responsibilities@@/HD@@ • Support product design reviews to address accessibility compliance with global standards • Provide guidance to design teams on accessibility principles and best practices • Assist in annotating designs to help align with accessibility standards during handoffs to the Product Team • Work with UX Designers to interpret accessibility requirements and contribute to actionable solutions • Communicate accessibility insights and deliverables effectively with internal teams • Contribute to accessibility planning by organizing backlogs and providing input on incorporating accessibility into development cycles • Conduct reviews of designs, prototypes, or applications for WCAG 2.2 compliance with guidance from senior team members • Collaborate with developers to address accessibility challenges during the development process • Stay updated on changes in accessibility standards and share knowledge with team members

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in accessibility engineering and inclusive design practices • Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) and their application to web or mobile designs • Experience with accessibility tools such as screen readers or assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) • Familiarity with annotating accessible design components for development purposes • Basic knowledge of Agile workflows and backlog management for accessibility tasks • Ability to work with designers, developers, and other stakeholders in a collaborative environment • Strong communication skills for sharing accessibility insights and explaining concepts to varied audiences • Comfort with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for accessibility evaluation • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level

• Awareness of mobile accessibility standards and responsive design considerations • Examples of contributions to accessibility efforts or projects
