AIRCRAFT MECHANIC (TITLE 32)

This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1063000 and is part of the Army Aviation Support Facility located in West Jordan, with the Utah Army National Guard. The selecting supervisor for this vacancy is SFC Kyle Simmons. IAW UTNGR 690-12 dated AUG 2022, Priority will be given to all current, onboard employees of the UTARNG. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Military Rank: Enlisted Compatible Military Assignments: CMF 15 For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Medical screening will be completed upon selection for hire. Soldiers who accept a technician position may be terminated from the Bonus and Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP). Military membership in the Utah Army National Guard is required. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Pending analysis, you may be required to complete a new 1-year probationary period when moved to this position IAW CNGBI 1400.25. May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
