SAP PRA Solution Architect
.
Successful candidates will join a thriving multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe.
The PRA Architect is responsible for defining and governing
end-to-end solution architecture for Production Revenue Accounting (PRA)
capabilities within ERP platforms (e.g., SAP PRA, S/4HANA). This role ensures that PRA solutions are
accurate, compliant, scalable, and aligned with business requirements
, while driving modernization, integration, and optimization across upstream finance and hydrocarbon value chains.
Key Responsibilities
•
PRA Solution Architecture & Design -
Define
end-to-end architecture for PRA solutions
, covering: Production revenue accounting, Royalty and tax calculations and Integration with upstream, finance, and reporting systems. Ensure solutions are
fit-for-purpose, scalable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
Translate
complex business requirements into system designs and architecture decisions
•
Functional & Domain Leadership (PRA) -
Act as the
subject matter expert for PRA processes
, including Production, Ownership, Revenue distribution and valuation, Royalty calculations and settlements, Regulatory and tax compliance. Provide guidance on
industry practices and standards for PRA operations
•
Cross-System Integration & Data Flow Design -
Architect integrations between:
• SAP PRA / Finance (FI), Joint Venture Accounting, Upstream production systems, External partner and reporting platforms. Ensure
data accuracy, reconciliation, and traceability across systems
•
Architecture Governance & Standards -
Lead
architecture reviews and design approvals
for PRA-related initiatives. Ensure adherence to: Enterprise architecture standards, Security and compliance requirements, Data integrity and auditability, Define and maintain
architecture blueprints, patterns, and guardrails
•
Delivery Enablement & Solution Quality -
Work with delivery teams to ensure
high-quality implementation of PRA solutions.
Provide oversight on: Design decisions, Technical feasibility, Performance and scalability, Resolve complex
functional and technical issues across PRA landscape
•
Stakeholder & Business Engagement -
Partner with: Finance (PRA, royalties, tax), Upstream and hydrocarbon value chain teams, IT delivery and support teams. Translate business needs into
clear architectural direction and solution options

Modernization & Continuous Improvement -
Identify opportunities to: Simplify PRA processes, Improve automation and system efficiency, Enable S/4HANA and digital transformation initiatives, Drive
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Domain & Functional Expertise - Deep knowledge of
SAP PRA / Production Revenue Accounting;
Royalty, tax, and revenue accounting processes. Strong understanding of
upstream oil & gas accounting and financial flow
• Architecture & Technical Skills - Experience as: Solution Architect / Functional Architect in ERP; Ability to design Complex, integrated ERP solutions and End-to-end data flows and system interactions
• Familiarity with: SAP ECC / S4HANA and Integration platforms and data architecture
• Leadership & Collaboration - Strong ability to: Influence decisions across technical and business stakeholders; Work across global, cross-functional teams. Effective communicator—translates technical concepts into
