Job Summary

Completes troubleshooting, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop independently while coaching and developing less experienced technicians We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Saskatoon, SK). Will make an impact in the following ways: • Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop • Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools • Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies • Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products • Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: • Completes complex internal engine repairs • Performs complex unassisted engine overhauls • Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools • Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components • Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation On call rotation Engine experience preferred

Education, Licenses, Certifications

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
