The pay range is $149,000.00 - $268,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. Your passion for learning the business, collaborating with   others   and building relationships with senior leaders and key business partners that you support will be essential to tackling the ever-changing legal and risk-based challenges we face in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.   Product Teams at Target Corporation are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily   maintained   and highly reliable .    Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all   product ,   technology   and design work.   As the Director of Product Management for Ethics, Legal, and Safety, you will lead the technology, product, and transformation teams that enable some of Target's most critical business functions. You will help shape how our Ethics, Legal, and Safety teams   operate   in an era increasingly defined by artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and evolving business needs.   This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and operational excellence, driving solutions that strengthen Target's culture, uphold our legal and ethical responsibilities, and protect our team members, guests, and communities. Through your leadership, you will help modernize core business processes, unlock new ways of working, and advance capabilities that support Target's reputation as a trusted employer, responsible corporate citizen, and industry leader.   As a Product Director, you will set the overall strategic vision for your product space and product team, are accountable for succeeding against identified business outcomes and metrics, will set and manage the product’s budget and financials, set the short- and long-term product goals, and quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).   You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring   a strong team   of product owners while also building a strong   team   culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across Product teams .    You will be responsible to elevate your collective team’s performance by providing insightful, motivating,   and constructive feedback to all roles on the team while also working with senior leadership and peers across pyramids to negotiate and remove execution related barriers for your teams.   You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to   validate   hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing engineering time, as you lead   highly complex   work across multiple pyramids, with interrelated specialties .    You will   leverage   data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of your products and related P&L impacts, and to deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.    It will be critical that you understand retail or similar areas, relevant   technologies   and design principles to drive innovative and scalable solutions across multiple pyramids within Target.     Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. About you

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience • 10+   years of product management experience   • D omain experience   in   legal, ethics, safety, risk, or reputation management   • Led and influenced a product team while fostering relationships across multiple enterprise-wide teams   • Experience with technology and ability to   facilitate   communication between business and technology teams   • Strong communication   skills and proven ability to influence both at a strategic leadership level and cross functionally   • Expert at working in the agile environment ( e.g.   user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas) • Strategic mindset and bias for action with strong ability for strategic planning, defining OKRs and driving business outcomes   This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
