In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on customer equipment • Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical systems with minimal supervision • Maintain accurate service documentation, including work orders and reports within company systems • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership regarding equipment status and service needs • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and overall customer satisfaction

To be successful in this role the following is preferred

• Strong mechanical background with proven hands-on experience • Proficiency in computer systems for diagnostics, reporting, and work order management • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and responsibilities with minimal supervision • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel within the assigned service area • Experience with diagnostic tools and advanced troubleshooting techniques (Preferred) • A current valid license is required for this role • Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience • This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

Education, Licenses, Certifications

Apprentice Trained Technician (Preferred). Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution. Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Minimal level of work shop experience required Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with chassis products

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated

Chassis Technician

to support in-shop operations. This position is primarily responsible for servicing and maintaining customer equipment while contributing to the growth of the extended service business. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on customer equipment • Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical systems with minimal supervision • Maintain accurate service documentation, including work orders and reports within company systems • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership regarding equipment status and service needs • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and overall customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with diagnostic tools and advanced troubleshooting techniques
