The Courtroom Deputy performs court or courtroom functions, which include calendaring, recording pertinent results for minutes, drafting judgements, processing orders, managing the judge's caseload, attending and logging court proceedings. This job entails a high level of knowledge and complexity regarding court or courtroom operation. Courtroom Deputies at this level are being trained to function at the fully proficient level of courtroom work, including complete calendar responsibilities. The selected candidate will undergo an FBI fingerprint check as a condition of employment and may be subject to periodic updates.
