Senior Director, People Partner, WMUS Marketing

As the Senior Director, People Partner for Walmart US Marketing, you will serve as a strategic advisor, coach, and change agent to Marketing business leaders. You will translate business priorities into people strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, culture, and engagement during a time of transformation for the Marketing function. You'll partner closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing senior leadership and cross-functional People teams to create an inclusive, high-performance environment where associates thrive and deliver world-class results. Understand business objectives and proactively develop people solutions that accelerate growth and impact. •

Guide teams through organizational change, transformation initiatives, restructures, and process improvement with empathy and expertise. •

Lead workforce planning, succession, and talent strategies to ensure the right skills and leadership pipelines for a dynamic, evolving marketing function. •

Champion Walmart's values and culture. Design and deploy initiatives that foster inclusion, associate engagement, and a growth mindset. •

Analyze people metrics to provide actionable insights and influence business decisions. Monitor organizational health, turnover, engagement, and productivity. •

Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards. •

Work cross-functionally with Centers of Expertise (COEs) in Talent, Learning, Compensation, and Diversity to deliver seamless People experiences.

@@HD@@ • Experience:@@/HD@@ 12+ years of progressive HR/People Partner experience, including at least 6 years supporting large, complex organizations; experience in marketing, retail, or digital environments preferred. •

Proven ability to understand business strategy and align people initiatives to drive results. •

Strong relationship-building, coaching, and consulting skills with senior leaders. •

Demonstrated success leading organizations through change and transformation. •

Ability to interpret data, diagnose trends, and develop actionable plans. •

Deep commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaged, and high-performance culture. •

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification a plus.
