About the role
Connecting Odds is seeking a versatile Data Analyst / Engineer to bridge the gap between raw data infrastructure and actionable business intelligence. In this remote role, you will be responsible for building robust data pipelines while simultaneously extracting insights that drive our strategic decision-making. We are looking for a technical problem-solver who thrives in a remote environment and enjoys the challenge of turning complex datasets into clear, narrative-driven results.
What you’ll do
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
* Transform raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis, reporting, and machine learning applications.
* Create and manage automated dashboards and visualizations that track key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate business questions into technical specifications.
* Monitor data quality and implement proactive solutions to resolve pipeline failures or data inconsistencies.
What we’re looking for
* 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a similar quantitative role.
* Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction and manipulation.
* Experience programming in Python or R for data processing and automation.
* Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools (e.g., Salesforce, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran).
* Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
* Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, schema design, and dimensional modeling.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
* Experience working within the SaaS analytics or Global industry.
* Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
* Basic understanding of statistical modeling or machine learning workflows.
* Experience working in an asynchronous, remote-first global team.
