Prudence Bellegarde-Desnomie

My name is Prudence Bellegarde-Desnomie, and I am a proud Cree woman and an Early Childhood Education student who believes every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued. I am passionate about creating welcoming environments where children can learn through play, build confidence, and express themselves freely.
My Cree heritage has shaped my appreciation for community, culture, and meaningful relationships. These values guide the way I interact with children, families, and colleagues every day.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy spending time with my pitbulls, drinking coffee, and surrounding myself with sunflowers, which remind me to stay positive and continue growing. My goal is to become an educator who inspires children to be curious, kind, and confident while making a lasting, positive impact on their lives.
